Rates,Payment, & Insurance
I use a secure, HIPAA compliant, online platform that allows you to schedule, manage your appointments, message me, share and sign documents, and pay for services in your client portal. Please keep reading to learn more about types of payment, ways to handle out-of-network insurance benefits, and accepted insurance companies.
Types of payment
Credit Card
I accept all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. The credit card payments are processed through your HIPAA compliant, secure client portal. If you are paying out-of-pocket and not using insurance, I charge $155 per 50 minute session.
HSA / FSA
Through your client portal, you can pay for services with your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Savings Account (FSA) card.
Insurance Reimbursement
Mentaya
Mentaya is a HIPAA compliant platform that can help you use your out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits to get insurance to cover part of the cost of therapy. They can instantly check your benefits and can submit claims after each session.
Here's how it works:
1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/BMHOI4r5uhh0VxV8HsJw
2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.
3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.
4. You get reimbursed by insurance!
Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.
They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
Superbill
I can send you a superbill via your client portal, where you then can submit it to your insurance company to seek reimbursement for some of the cost of therapy.
Insurance companies
I accept the following insurance companies:
United HealthCare UHC | UBH
Optum
I will also be accepting more insurance companies in the next couple of months and will update my website here when that happens.
